Come and stay for a dreamy vacation in our cozy cottages.  The inviting fire pit is hard to resist.  It beckons you to bring your marshmallow stick and roast a few over a nice fire.  The Lake itself is so serene, clean and peaceful. Enjoy relaxing days in the sun, swimming, fishing, boating, hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, sightseeing, hiking, waterfalls  and so much more.

What a great place to spend your vacation
With over 52 lakes in our wonderful, relaxing, recreational area, you can enjoy canoeing, boating, water skiing, swimming, fishing, and camping. Our lakes are surrounded by beautiful woods where you can hunt, enjoy peaceful walks, or take to the hundreds of miles of trails on your snowmobile.

Our winter provides an opportunity for snowmobiling, cross country and downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and just plain ol' fun. There are many winter carnivals, sports, and other events in the surrounding area.

In the summer, you can golf at our nearby 18 hole course, pick blueberries, enjoy peaceful walks by lakes and streams, camp, visit our museum, shop in our many stores, or just relax.

Skiing
Enjoy Cross Country or down hill skiing.  For cross country skiing groomed trails are a short drive away at the Blueberry Cross CountrySkiing Trails. Or you can venture out into the wilds and rough it on the miles of fire roads that course through the national forests, state forests and wilderness areas.  For Downhill Skiing you will find Marquette mountain to be a sure source of excitement.
Fishing
Little Shag Lake and Big Shag Lake

Northern lights are viewable at our location.  They are truly amazing and very common.  You will be amazed at the nightscape and the stars you can view.
